As the mother river of the Chinese nation, the ecological management and green development of the Yangtze River are important windows for China to practice the concept of ecological civilization. France possesses advanced concepts and technological experience in environmental protection and sustainable development. Both China and France attach great importance to youth and cultural exchanges.

This project aims to leverage the rich ecological management practices and cultural resources of the Yangtze River Cultural Belt to create a platform for cross-cultural communication and artistic creation between Chinese and French university students. By collaboratively producing short videos and mini-dramas, it encourages young people from both countries to jointly explore green ecological topics, deepen their understanding of sustainable development, foster mutual friendship, narrate ecological stories of the Yangtze River from a youth perspective, and promote Sino-French cultural exchange and mutual learning between civilizations.

The supporting organizations for this project include: the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, relevant provincial and municipal publicity departments, bureaus of culture and tourism, environmental protection bureaus, the Cultural Department of the French Embassy and Consulates in China, relevant environmental organizations or research institutions of the China-France Friendship Association, and others.
